It’s really good to see this new website. I’ve been a Viking enthusiast for a few years and have some catalogues, price lists etc that may be of interest to you. I don’t have everything but can probably fill a few gaps and sort out one or two problem areas. For instance: the catalogue you have as probably 1960 is, in fact, mid 1961. (now marked up as 1961 Leaflet)( The clue is that it includes the Conquest model which wasn’t launched until May 1961. I have a copy of the main catalogue for 1961 (now included in the catalogues), presumably compiled in late 1960, which shows that the Ian Steel model has now been dropped and the “Grand Tour” model has been introduced instead. There is no mention of the “Conquest”; they obviously decided to print an updated flyer a few months later when the new model was revealed.

I’ve attached a very low res scan of the roadtest for a Viking Conquest dated May 1961 to confirm the information I gave you recently. It isn’t great quality but just about readable!
